Looking to enjoy some live music in downtown Del Mar? Good news. The 2021-2022 First Thursdays season from the Del Mar Foundation is getting ready to kick-off, and subscriptions are now available. The suggested donation for a 2021-22 season subscription is $175 per person. All proceeds go towards funding the Del Mar Foundation’s Cultural Arts Committee.

The music begins September 2nd, and residents are invited all the way through June to enjoy a variety of live musical performances at Del Mar’s Town Hall. Prior to the start of each event, a wine and cheese reception will be held on the Civic Center plaza.

Then, the 75-minute show will commence in Town Hall to take advantage of the excellent acoustics. Attendees will find plenty of free parking is available in the adjoining Civic Center as well. For 2021, the Foundation is enacting special protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic that requires attendees to pre-register with proof of vaccination. Scheduled performances this year include: Holly Hofmann and Mike Wofford; the Hutchins Consort; Peter Sprague and the world-renowned sitarist Kartik Seshadri, and many more.
